'CONCERT CLIMAT' TRILOGY

A COP21 PROJECT

​Composed by French-American pianist and trombonist Joe Makholm, 'CONCERT CLIMAT' was created by the PARIS JAZZ REPERTORY SEPTET during the COP21 conference in Paris, in December 2015.

​

'CONCERT CLIMAT' is a strong, impressionist musical evocation of the struggle of humankind facing climate change.

​

This musical suites was composed for a jazz septet (four wind instruments and rythm section), as an original work  drawing its inspiration from the books by Bill McKibben, Naomi Klein and James Hansen, who all underline the extreme emmergency of consciousness of the climatic phenomena...
