FRANCK DELPEUT

FRANCK DELPEUT began his musical studies at the age of seven (piano with Bruno Rigutto, as well as lessons on trumpet). Following classical studies at the National Regional Conservatory of Paris, where he obtained the gold medal in cornet and trumpet, he chose to focus on popular music and jazz.

He has performed with groups spanning a wide variety of styles:

• afro-beat (Alpha Blondy, Rido Bayonne),

• film music (Francis Lai Orchestra),

• New Orleans jazz (small bands),

• medium and big bands (Michel Leeb, Gérard Badini, Orchestre de la Lune, Parisian Swing Orchestra, Laurent Mignard's Duke Orchestra, François Laudet Big Band, Ornicar, Tentet de Stan Laferrière, Bad Boys Big Band...),

• international "variété" with Paul Mauriat,

• musical comedy (Hello Dolly, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Singin' in the Rain and the Broadway Musical Company).​
