PHILIPPE NADAUD
BIOGRAPHY
Born in Paris, PHILIPPE NADAUD began solfège studies at the age of six, clarinet at seven, with Marcel Naulais at the Conservatory of Antony, and saxophone at 14..
An early affinity for jazz led him to a serious and systematic chronological study, beginning with New Orleans and followed by swing, bebop, West Coast, hard bop, free jazz, etc. He attempted to reproduce the sounds at the piano and understand how this music worked at a time when little existed in the form of methods and documentation.
